Hosea 6:1 NLT

"Come, let us return to the LORD, He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds."

Observation~ Hosea is speaking to those who has gone away from the Lord, and now they are realizing they need Him.

Application~ Sometimes the things in this world can be very hard and it does makes me fall away from God, but I just pray and remember that I am not alone and I Will always have Him on my side. Return to God immediately because He's not holding you at arm's length.

Prayer~ Dear Father God, thank You for always bringing me back to You when I am falling away. Heal the places in my heart that is not of You and that makes me feel broken or distant. Restore what I've lost and strengthen what has grown…

Scripture~ Galatians 5:14 NLT

"For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Observation~ Sometimes you have to test your faith and see if you're really walking with Christ. If you want to know if you're walking in the Spirit, look at how you treat others.

Application~ I would like to treat others how I want to be treated, and that is through the Fruit of the Spirit.

Prayer~ Dear God thank You for being my Father and for teaching me what it's like to be loved. I can now show that love to others and treat them like the good Samaritan. I ask for forgiveness of my sins and also wisdom and understand of everything word that I read in the bible. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.

Scripture~ John 17-14-16 NLT

"I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do."

Observation~ It's a reaction to the word living inside believers. Christians are to know that they are in the world but not a part of it. Our identity is not rooted in culture, trends, or worldly systems.

Application~ I am not meant to fit in with others in the world. I can continue to pray for me and my family's strength and protection to stand firm in our faith. My identity is anchored…

Scripture~ Ecclesiastes 7:1-5 NLT

" A good reputation is more valuable than costly perfume. And the day you die is better than the day you are born. Better to spend your time at funerals than at parties. After all, everyone dies- so the living should take this to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter, for sadness has a refining influence on us. A wise person thinks a lot about death, while a fool thinks only about having a good time. Better to be criticized by a wise person than to be praised by a fool."

Observation~ wisdom grows in places we don't prefer. It is found in uncomfortable places.
